| The Centro Cultural Colombo Americano is a non-profit, Binational Center whose purpose is to create and maintain good relations between the people of Colombia and United States. The Center was created in 1956 by a group of North Americans and Colombians with aid from the Embassy of th United States. The Center achieves its mission through the teaching of the English Language at all levels, the Advising Office for Studies in the US, the services of the Public Bilingual Library, the cultural events that take place in the Lincoln Gallery , the Bookstore and the Multimedia Room. The Education USA center has been offering its services to the community approximately ten years ago. Providing accurate, comprehensive, objective and timely information about educational opportunities in the United States and guidance to qualified individuals on how best to access those opportunities. Participating in outreach activities such as school and university fairs in order to promote Education USA services. Offering guide and help to the students who contact the Education USA Center by phone, email, correspondence or personal visits. Also participating in workshops and professional development programs, and organizing university fairs for U.S. university representatives. |
